We’re currently looking for -

A Bakery Shift Manager (Progressing to Production Manager)

Reports To:                           Managing Director - Piero

Salary:                                  c. €37,000 per annum D.O.E.

Job Purpose:                     To work with the managing director to ensue that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently.

Hours:                                    7.30am – 4.30pm Monday to FridaySummary of the Position:

The bakery shift manager will lead the daytime production to ensure the bakery runs smoothly and continues to deliver artisan pizza bases of the highest quality. With a hands-on approach, you will inspire your team to achieve amazing results.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

·       The bakery shift manager will ensure that all products are produced efficiently and correctly with a focus on quality and consistency.

·       Responsible for both our multi-skilled production and packaging teams.

·       Review product performance on an ongoing basis and communicate daily with the Managing Director.

·       Ensure all HACCP, Records and KPIs paperwork are completed on time and filed correctly.

·       Ensure that all staff are operating to correct SOPs and carry out regular reviews with teams and team leaders.

·       Manage teams and cover gaps on production line.

·       Coach, train and educate teams to generate a high-performance culture, focused on delivery and excellent customer service

·       Cover for the managing director in his absence

·       Notify the owner of stock levels and when to reorder.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Understanding of dough and fermentation processes and manage the dough accordingly

·       Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting

·       Understand production machinery and how to resolve day to day food production issues.

·       Be a team player.

·       Be comfortable working with managing teams in a fast-paced food production environment.

·       Highly motivated and enthusiastic.

·       Ability to take instruction but also ability to work on own initiative.

·       Be health and safety conscious.

·       Flexible to the needs of the business.
