Ingredients -
Pizza da Piero pizza bases
300g brussel sprouts (ends trimmed and leaves pulled off)
1 Onion
2 Cloves of Garlic
Handful of Parmesan Cheese
Tub of Ricotta Cheese
Balsamic Glaze
1 ) Turn oven up to highest temperature
2) Thinly slice the Onion and fry gently for 3 minutes
3) Add in the Brussel Sprouts and sauté for a further 3 minutes
4) Add the Garlic & fry for 2 more minutes
5) Scatter the Parmesan Cheese on your pizza base
6) Top with Sprout mixture
7) Place small dollops of Ricotta Cheese around the pizza
8) Bake in oven for 3-5 minutes
9) Drizzle with Balsamic Glaze before serving
Soggy sprouts? No thanks! We’re going to sauté ours and of course serve them on a pizza for a delicious meat free meal over Christmas.
