Smoked salmon pizza with ricotta cheese, capers & dill 🍕🐟🌿

This smoked salmon pizza makes an easy and elegant appetiser or light meal. There’s no tomato pizza sauce on this one, it’s a white pizza, or pizza bianca.
Ingredients-
• Pizza da Piero pizza bases
• smoked salmon
• ricotta cheese
• capers
• fresh dill
Method-
It’s really easy, just spread the cheese, salmon and capers on the pizza. Bake in oven at highest temp for 3-5 minutes. Scatter with fresh dill before serving 🍕

Vegan BBQ Jackfruit Pizza 🍕 🌱 .

This savory BBQ Jackfruit Pizza has everything you love about a BBQ chicken pizza but without the meat! With our crispy crust, BBQ coated Jackfruit and pineapple. This pizza has it all, and it’s completely plant-based!

Ingredients:
Pizza da Piero pizza bases
BBQ Sauce
Tinned jackfruit
Tinned pineapple
1 green chilli, thinly sliced
Vegan cheese
Coriander to garnish

HOW TO PREPARE PULLED JACKFRUIT:

Even though this jackfruit resembles pulled pork, I found it easier to “mash” rather than “shred”

Heat jackfruit on medium/high heat
Using a potato masher, start mashing jackfruit until the chunks break up
Remove seeds and casings from the jackfruit
Mix in the BBQ sauce
Method
Preheat oven to highest temperature
Drain can of jackfruit and place in pan on medium heat. Let cook for 5 minutes
Once the jackfruit is tender, use a backside of a fork or a potato masher to break apart the jackfruit until pulled pork consistency is reached. Remove seeds and casings from seeds
Add 1/2 cup of barbecue sauce and mix well. Remove from heat
Spread a thin layer of BBQ sauce on your pizza base
Sprinkle cheese on top
Scatter pineapple and green chilli slices. Top with jackfruit.
Bake in oven for 3-5 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted
Garnish with chopped coriander and slice

Caramelised Pear, Prosciutto & Cranberry Roulade Goats Cheese Pizza

Pizza night is just about to get even better with this pear & prosciutto pizza. The combo is sweet and salty. The taste is amazing 🤩

If you’re having friends around at the weekend, this pizza would make fantastic finger food

Ingredients-
- pizza da piero pizza bases
- 3 small pears
- 4 slices prosciutto
- 1 tub of cranberry roulade goats cheese (plain goats cheese will work too)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar

Method-
- melt butter and brown sugar in a pot over medium heat. Add the sliced pears and cook for about 10 minutes, to caramelise.
- pre heat oven to highest temp
- add pears, goats cheese and prosciutto to pizza base
- cook in oven for 3-5 mins until crispy
- remove from oven, scatter fresh basil leaves, slice and enjoy

Here we have @durruscheese Durrus Og, a soft, young cheese, melts really well and tastes 🙌 we have @macroombuffalo made from Irish Buffalo milk 🇮🇪 @cashelfarmhousecheese our favourite, creamy blue cheese and then a @simplybetterds Parmigiano Reggiano which is matured for at least 30 months 😋

Ingredients-

Method-

Meet the best vegan pizza recipe! Loaded with artichokes, roast peppers, olives and a spicy chickpea sauce. It’s full of flavour and makes for a satisfying dinner. Each ingredient adds an interesting flavour and texture, when combined, makes this pizza taste amazing. Oven-roasting the peppers really highlight and bring out their unique flavor. Made with a generous sprinkle of crushed red pepper, and some hot smoked paprika (or cayenne pepper), the chickpea sauce brings some subtle heat to the pizza

Ingredients

⭐️Pizza Sauce

⭐️Spicy Chickpea Sauce (yield: 1 1/2 cups, enough for 3 12" pizzas)
- 1 15 oz can chickpeas (1 1/2 cups), rinsed
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper (more if you like spicy)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp smoked hot paprika (add 1/4 tsp cayenne if using sweet)
- 1/2 cup vegetable stock
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil

⭐️Vegetables
- Roasted red and yellow peppers - Roasting peppers is just a matter of chopping, tossing in olive oil, seasoning and cooking quickly in high heat in oven
- 50g of artichokes hearts from a jar, chopped
- Olives
- Fresh rocket to serve

Instructions-
To make the spicy chickpea sauce

Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Process until smooth. If needed add a little more broth or water by the tablespoon

Making your pizza

1- Pre heat your oven to the highest temperature
2- Spread your pizza sauce
3-Dot spoonfuls of the spicy chickpea sauce around the pizza
4-Scatter your roast peppers, olives and artichokes
5-Bake in oven for 3-5 minutes until your crust is crispy
6-Remove from oven, top with fresh rocket
7-Slice and serve

Artichoke & black olive pizza

Pizza with Artichoke & Mozzarella (Pizza ai carciofi e scamorza)

Artichokes preserved in oil for antipasti are perfect for pizza-making as the delicious oil they are soaked in means they won’t dry out during cooking

Heat oven to highest temperature. Grill artichoke on a pan. Arrange mozzarella evenly over pizza base. Scatter artichokes and black olives over the top. Bake for 3-5 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is melted. Remove from oven and sprinkle with black pepper. Eat immediately! 🍕

This is a perfect recipe for our mini 5” pizza bases. Quick and delicious lunch or supper in minutes.

Speculoos, Marshmallow and Ice Cream Dessert Pizza

We all deserve a treat these days and no better excuse than the Easter long weekend. Chef @dancruickshank has come up with another epic pizza for us. A great pizza to make with the kids or not!

This is a sweet, rich dessert pizza. I love biscuit spread, also known as speculoos. I use Lotus Biscoff Spread. It's addictive. You can use any marshmallow you like. I made homemade marshmallows but they are very time consuming and extra. Buy good quality large ones. You can use any flavour ice cream you like. I use vanilla. Garnish with fresh fruit. For me had to be fresh cherries and strawberries.


Ingredients :

  • Pizza da Piero small individual bases

  • Lotus Biscoff Spread

  • Marshmallows

  • Ice Cream of choice

  • Fresh fruit

Method :

Spoon a thin layer of spread on pizza base. Add your marshmallows and into a hot oven for 2 to 3 minutes. Too long and it will burn the cookie spread. You can finish marshmallows with a kitchen blow torch. Well worth investing in as a kitchen gadget.

Take out and add your ice cream. I cut mine into squares and froze ahead of time so they stay nice on the warm pizza.

Garnish with whatever fruit you like and enjoy.

This is a great little pizza to get kids involved.

You can substitute the cookie spread for peanut butter if you like.

Anchovy & Black Olive Pizza

This salty and garlicky #anchovy pizza will give any takeaway a run for it's money this weekend. As usual chef Dan Cruickshank has helped us come up with another delicious pizza. You really won’t want to share this one with anybody!

Ingredients -

-Pizza da Piero Pizza base
-Pizza sauce
-Boquerones, white fish anchovy
-Black olives. I used good quality Moroccans for these.
-Mozzarella
-Irish salted butter
-Wild garlic (optional)
-Olive oil

Method-

Add tomato sauce to your base
Cheese next.
A few anchovies and a few olives. They are both salty so too much can take away from the finished dish.
I banged oven up full whack and cooked the pizza as close to the top of the oven as possible without it touching. This helps with the extra charring. Big bubbles can appear and burn. This is what is what you are looking for. Just keep an eye on it. Takes about 7 to 8 minutes in total.
Serve with a drizzle of good olive oil and wild garlic leaves if you wish. The anchovies are marinated in garlic too but extra garlic isn't a bad thing with this pizza. 😋🙌
